Corey's Report Card

Corey got his Report Card Tuesday and I am so proud of him
He did go down in Reading this time but hopefully he will be able to bring it back up ....we'll see!
I am already having some anxiety about a 4th grade project next year.....Isn't that CRAZY???.........I have literally been worrying about a Virginia Scrapbook they have to put together..........any suggestions or ideas about Virginia History I would gladly accept!
I think I'm going to try to collect brochures & pictures over the summer........maybe even take a little trip or two........I would LOVE to have 'real' pictures of Corey at some of the places if I can just figure out what some of the places are.......
Help if you can!

There is a great Civil War Park in Pettersburg, VA. www.pamplinpark.com My kids loved it when they were younger..There is a fort outside, along with a cabin and the kids can try on the uniforms and just have alot of fun...The museum is like you are walking inside a camp in some areas...plus you put on a head set as you listen to a soilder tell you about his life in the war..there are different soilders to choose from, so everyone can learn something different....Oh, and tell Corey GREAT JOB!!!!

Great job Corey! Don't stress at all about the VA project. I had to do one when I was in 4th grade too...I still have it somewhere...There are many places in VA to include...Rhonda gave a great suggestion and there's Williamsburg and Jamestown and Nauticus in Norfolk to give you a few more...you can also contact the VA Commerce...I'm sure they have a website now and they will send you all kinds of brochures...of course I had to call them back in the day...LOL! If I come across my scrapbook, I will get back to you on some of the other things I included in mine many years ago.
